Evening and weekend dental hours are the exception, and Sunday rarer still

Extended weekday evenings almost always run on named days only, and Sunday opening is far scarcer. Of six clinics around Nowon Station, one held regular Sunday hours.

Extended weekday evening hours at Korean dental clinics typically run on named days, and regular Sunday opening is considerably rarer.

Dental treatment does not finish in one visit. An implant runs across months of osseointegration; orthodontics means every four to eight weeks for one to three years. What matters in practice is therefore not whether you can go once, but whether you can keep going.

Five of six offer evening hours, and every one of them is day-specific. Three run Tuesday/Thursday, one Monday/Friday, one Monday–Wednesday, so “a clinic with evening hours” does not by itself tell you which day you can attend. Sunday came to one regular opening and one alternating.

All six open Saturday morning, but closing clusters at 14:00–14:30. Saturday should be counted as a half day.

Why this filter comes first

TreatmentVisit structure
Acute painWhatever is open today is effectively the whole list
ImplantPlacement, then months of osseointegration across several visits
OrthodonticsEvery 4–8 weeks for 1–3 years, plus a retention phase
Wisdom tooth extractionFollow-up visit after extraction

Treatment menus overlap across clinics; operating days do not. Studies using Korean national data repeatedly report unmet dental care need among adults and older adults, with access factors such as mobility limitation analysed as drivers.

From the source

The criteria for choosing a dental clinic change with the situation. For someone with a throbbing molar who has to go today, whatever is open today is the entire list — while for a parent checking the timing of a child’s orthodontics, being able to attend for years comes first.
